Granola adds cross-meeting chat and reasoning with Thinking Mode
Granola introduces a chat feature that enables users to ask questions spanning all their previous meetings, no matter how many weeks or months of conversations are involved. Responses come with full context, transcripts, and built-in reasoning, aiming to provide thorough and accurate answers for any query. Users can access this capability directly from the “Ask Granola” button on the home screen.
For users who need more targeted results, it is possible to either query every meeting in their history or focus on a specific time range. While reviewing responses, hovering over any reference reveals the precise meeting and moment it originated from. Users can jump straight to the referenced point in a meeting with a single click.
The system relies on the latest reasoning models, including a feature known as 'Thinking Mode'. This model enables Granola not only to recall meeting details but also to reason through them, generating more intelligent and actionable responses. This eliminates the need to manually piece together information from multiple meetings when searching for a decision, answer, or next step.
