Organic Maps migrates to Forgejo due to GitHub account blocked by Microsoft

Organic Maps has successfully relocated from GitHub to Forgejo after being blocked by Microsoft. The reason was not specified in exact details, but it was likely because a contributor was temporarily geolocated in a U.S.-sanctioned region. The migration involved the transfer of a substantial amount of data, including 54,000 commits, 9,500 issues, 4,300 pull requests, and 100,000 comments. This issue provided Organic Maps with the opportunity to transition to a self-hosted, decentralized development environment, such as Forgejo.

I am not sure if this is fault of Microsoft or the US government. Depends what is required of them. Still it may be a plus.
