Mullvad's Android app, version 2024.9, has successfully passed the Mobile Application Security Assessment (MASA), conducted by the NCC Group, highlighting its robust security profile. This assessment, part of Google's App Defense Alliance, now within the Linux Foundation, was a black-box test focused on industry-recognized security criteria without a code review. As a result of this rigorous Assessment Level 2 (AL2) testing, Mullvad's app earned a Verified badge on the Google Play Store.
