Immich 1.129 update: Enhanced memories, easier link sharing, new shortcuts, and bug fixes

Immich, the open source and self-hosted photo and video management solution, has released version 1.129 following its milestone of 60k stars on GitHub! 🙌 This update enhances the web experience by allowing videos in memories to be playable on the web, and addresses bugs related to memory implementation. Users can now delete previous memories, reset the memory generation status, and automatically run the memory generation job, resolving issues since version 1.127.

New shortcuts, L and Shift+L, have been added for easier asset management in albums and shared albums on the web. Additionally, the update resolves an issue where opening Immich paused music playback on iOS. A new feature has also been introduced to generate a QR code for shared links, facilitating easier sharing.

Future improvements are anticipated for the memory feature, while version 1.129 already boasts numerous other enhancements and bug fixes aimed at boosting stability and user experience.
