Linux users installing Bitwarden through Snapcraft can now unlock the desktop application using biometrics via system authentication. It took me a while to realise that biometrics support was introduced in 2024-10-2, but that the snap package took a while longer to become available. Found this for some background info: Bitwarden Community.
