Bitwarden enables biometric unlock on Linux

Linux users installing Bitwarden through Snapcraft can now unlock the desktop application using biometrics via system authentication. While biometrics offer a convenient unlocking method, the master password or any two-step login methods are still necessary for initial login. Users should enable their biometric options in device settings and choose the desired unlocking behavior in app settings for a smoother experience.

It took me a while to realise that biometrics support was introduced in 2024-10-2, but that the snap package took a while longer to become available. Found this for some background info: Bitwarden Community.
