Twitch & StreamElements launch integrated sponsorship system and new Creator profiles
Twitch has teamed up with StreamElements to introduce a new sponsorship system directly within its platform, marking the first time a third party has been incorporated into Twitch's sponsorship framework.
This new feature will be accessible through a "Sponsorship" tab in the Twitch dashboard, allowing streamers to explore sponsorship deals, agree to terms, and receive payments. The system includes a "Guaranteed Base Pay" and Performance Incentives, offering bonuses based on audience engagement. Unlike other earnings on Twitch, these sponsorship payouts will be handled separately by StreamElements. The program is open to all streamers, not just Partners or Affiliates, but will be rolled out in phases. Starting February 25, it will be available to 10,000 select Partners, with expansion to English-language Affiliates in March and further plans for growth.
Additionally, Twitch is launching new Creator Profiles to help streamers attract suitable sponsorships. These profiles allow streamers to showcase their interests and streaming preferences, making them more discoverable to potential sponsors. The profiles can be used both on and off Twitch and will soon be available as downloadable infographics to share with sponsors.
