Superhuman unveils AI-powered email categorization to reduce spam and enhance productivity
Superhuman, an AI-powered and productivity-focused email application, has announced a significant update to its platform. The application now offers advanced AI capabilities that assist users in managing their email more efficiently. The update introduces features such as automatic inbox organization, with categories for responses, pending items, meeting requests, marketing emails, and more. Users can also create custom labels to tailor their inboxes further.
Superhuman's AI now drafts replies for follow-ups, utilizing connected resources like calendars, previous emails, and documents to personalize responses. The AI adapts to each recipient's preferred communication style based on past interactions. Additionally, Superhuman sets reminders for emails requiring responses and drafts follow-ups, with plans for future capabilities to send these automatically.
The update also includes workflow automation, streamlining entire processes. These new features are being gradually rolled out, with early access available via the Superhuman AI beta waitlist on their website.

Comments
At the current pace, all emails will soon be written by AI, and all email will be read by AI. Since people spend less than 5s reading an email, most emails should never be more than a dozen words. That's the best way to be productive and stop wasting energy.
In its defense, I have to say that although I’m personally not interested in these AI features, Superhuman is a really good email client—if you’re willing to pay what I consider a high monthly price for it.
