Perplexity's lasted iOS update introduces new redesigned Voice Mode with real-time answers
Perplexity latest iOS update brings a redesigned voice mode (similar to ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode, with a new interactive user interface. The update introduces a visually engaging sphere of dots that respond to user interactions, such as swiping.
Users now have access to six voice options, an increase from previous versions, enhancing variety in the text-to-speech model. The voice mode also integrates built-in search functionality, allowing users to view search results within a widget in the app, with the option to open them in a browser for more details.
Additionally, Perplexity introduces Claude Sonnet 3.7 to the model selector, available for both mobile and web users. This model offers enhanced AI capabilities, marking a significant addition to Perplexity’s suite of models.
