Luminar Neo 1.23 released with simplified layer merging, enhanced vignette tool, and more
Skylum has rolled out version 1.23 of Luminar Neo, introducing several enhancements to its AI-driven photo editing software. The update simplifies layer merging, allowing users to combine selected layers into a single layer with ease. The vignette tool now offers pre-crop or post-crop options, enabling automatic vignette application before or after cropping during new edits.
Camera star ratings are now integrated, allowing photographers to view ratings assigned in-camera directly within Luminar Neo for streamlined image organization. The update also broadens camera support, adding compatibility for models such as the Fujifilm X-M5, Nikon Z50 II, Sony A1 II, and several other Panasonic and Sony cameras.
Additionally, lens profile updates provide improved lens support, the filmstrip's scrolling logic has been enhanced for smoother navigation, and numerous improvements have been made to presets. The update also includes various other enhancements and bug fixes for both Windows and macOS platforms.
