Jitter unveils revamped Figma plugin with Figma Slides import, multiselect feature, & more
Jitter, a web-based motion design tool, has unveiled a revamped Figma plugin, introducing new import options enhanced by an infinite canvas. This update rebuilds the plugin for improved pixel-perfect compatibility and performance, incorporating powerful import features. Users can now import Figma Slides decks into Jitter with a single click, maintaining the ease of use found in Figma.
Additionally, a new multiselect feature allows for the simultaneous import of multiple layers or frames from Figma. A full file import option now enables the quick transfer of an entire Figma file to Jitter's infinite canvas using a keyboard shortcut. Artboard pasting has also been improved; pasting an artboard into a file will now position it in the middle of the viewport.
The plugin also addresses invalid media handling by displaying warnings for unavailable media without hindering file access or export. Furthermore, a previous issue where template edits were not saved when users were logged out of Jitter has been resolved.
