Netflix quietly dropped phone casting support for newer Chromecast devices and TV Streamer
Netflix has quietly removed the casting feature from its mobile apps to most modern TVs and streaming devices from Google. The change affects newer Chromecast models, the Google TV Streamer, and similar hardware, echoing Netflix’s earlier move in 2019 when it dropped AirPlay support.
According to Netflix’s updated support page, the only exceptions are older Chromecast devices without remotes and TVs with built in Google Cast, and casting on these is limited to users on ad free plans, while those on the ad supported plan cannot cast at all.
Netflix directs users to open the native Netflix app on their TV or streaming device using its remote instead of casting from a phone. These changes appear to have been rolling out gradually since mid November. Netflix gave no advance notice, and customer service has informally said the decision aims to improve the experience for devices that use remotes.

Netflix, sir! Bowel movement complete. Permission to wipe my ass, sir!
And they will ask more from you by giving you less...
You're not fair, Netflix is giving much more ads to users.
