ForkLift 4.4.2 adds direct custom icons for favorites, new Amazon S3 regions and bug fixes

BinaryNights has released ForkLift 4.4.2, the latest version of its dual pane file manager and file transfer client for macOS. With this update, users gain the ability to assign custom icons directly when saving new favorites. After choosing a favorite name and group, users can now select an icon in the same pop-up dialog, making customization more accessible from the start.

Building on cloud integration features, ForkLift 4.4.2 introduces five additional Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) regions. To streamline workflows, the list of S3 regions is now organized into major groups, with specific regions ordered alphabetically within each group.

Following recent visual updates to match the macOS Tahoe 26 design language, this release also delivers a series of bug fixes. Many of these address issues that arose after the graphical user interface changes. The improvements reinforce ForkLift's focus on reliable performance and modern design alignment for Mac users.
