Clonezilla Live 3.3 has been released with Linux 6.16 Kernel, Alias Devices & eMMC Support

Clonezilla Live 3.3.0-33 is now available, built on the Linux 6.16 kernel with improved hardware compatibility and performance for disk and partition cloning. The update expands storage support by adding the ability to clone Memory Technology Device block and eMMC boot devices in expert mode.

A new tool, ocs-blkdev-sorter, lets udev create alias block devices at /dev/ocs-disks/ for easier selection, while ocs-sr and ocs-live-feed-img now allow choosing these aliases in the text-mode interface using the new -uoab option. The release also includes ocs-live-time-sync for system time synchronization, ocs-cmd-screen-sample for use with “run again” scripts, and ocs-blk-dev-info for outputting block device data in JSON format. Background task management improves with the addition of atd and cron, and console font size now adjusts automatically based on terminal dimensions.

Other changes include checks for LVM thin provisioning, inclusion of dhcpcd-base for networking, and the new ocs-live-gen-ubrd tool for embedded workflows. Clonezilla Live 3.3.0-33 is now available for download through SourceForge, with complete details in the official announcement.
