Vivaldi 7.1 brings tab import, new customization options, and new default search engines

Vivaldi has launched version 7.1 of its web browser, introducing a range of new features and enhancements. Among the updates is a weather widget, providing real-time weather updates for selected locations, integrated alongside mail, calendar, and feed functionalities. Additionally, users can now customize their dashboard widgets with new background style options and web widget theme colors that harmonize with the browser's theme.

The update also simplifies the process of importing active tabs from other browsers into Vivaldi, enhancing user convenience. Speed Dial management has been streamlined, and the Send Tab to Device feature allows for seamless sharing. The default search engine options have expanded to include Startpage, Ecosia, DuckDuckGo, and Qwant. Version 7.1 also includes various other minor improvements and bug fixes.
