Spotify launches partner program with new monetization options

Spotify has launched its Partner Program to help creators grow their audiences and monetize their content. Announced during on November 13, the program introduces features like video clips, thumbnails, and analytics. Since then, nearly 60% of eligible shows and networks have joined, showing rapid adoption.

The program provides multiple revenue options, such as Spotify Premium video engagement payouts and ads on Spotify Free and external platforms like Apple Podcasts. Creators must host their shows on Spotify for Creators and meet criteria such as 10,000 streamed hours and 2,000 unique users in the last 30 days, with at least 12 episodes published.

The program is currently available in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia.
