Scribus 1.7.0 has been released with an enhanced UI, new SVG icons, and many enhancements

Scribus, the popular open-source desktop publishing software, has released version 1.7.0, introducing a range of significant enhancements and bug fixes. A key feature of this update is the integration of the Qt Advanced Docking System, allowing for customized window layouts and full-featured window docking. Users can now drag and drop palettes to create personalized workflows, complete with auto-hide functionality.

The update also features a newly designed SVG-based icon set, ensuring improved usability and clarity across different screen resolutions. Additionally, Scribus 1.7.0 supports both light and dark user interface modes, alongside improved palettes and a redesigned New Document dialog that includes refreshed page size sets and visualization.
