ForkLift brings recent folders and direct alias editing to this macOS file transfer client

BinaryNights has rolled out versions 4.2.3 and 4.2.4 of ForkLift, its dual pane file manager and file transfer client for macOS. These updates introduce a Recent Folders group to the sidebar, displaying up to 10 recent locations based on the active data source. Users can now hide the Connections group via the sidebar editor and utilize a new option to hide all sidebar groups, including recent folders, through a right-click context menu.

Additionally, ForkLift now enables direct editing of linked files from alias files in the preview pane. When an alias file is selected, its linked file can be edited directly if it is editable. The updates also bring refreshed tab icons, address OneDrive-related issues, and boost overall stability and performance.
