Runway launches API for Gen-3 Alpha Turbo AI video model

Runway has introduced an API for its generative AI video models, enabling integration into external applications and services. Currently in limited access, the API features the Gen-3 Alpha Turbo model, a faster iteration of Runway's Gen-3 Alpha. Developers and companies can utilize this API to incorporate generative AI video capabilities into their platforms.

Available under two plans—"Build" for internal projects and "Enterprise" for consumer-facing products—the pricing starts at one cent per credit, with one second of video costing five credits. A mandatory "Powered by Runway" badge with a link to Runway’s website is required for transparency and user awareness.

The Gen-3 Alpha Turbo model promises faster video generation, improving performance across various applications. The API caters to a wide range of users, from small development teams to large enterprises, offering flexible solutions for video generation needs.
