Ripple 7.0 is now available with new shelf feature, custom icons & Apple Watch integration
Ripple 7.0 has been released on the App Store, bringing notable enhancements such as the new Shelf feature and additional app icons. The Shelf feature enables users to store Lists, Saved Searches, or Smart Searches in one place within the Browse section, allowing for easy access to frequently used content. Users can fully customize the Shelf by adding, rearranging, and personalizing its contents.
The update also introduces new Neon and Palette icons in Light, Dark, and Tinted styles, with a preview feature to facilitate selection. Additionally, Ripple 7.0 includes live activity support for the Apple Watch, integrating with the Smart Stack in watchOS. Actor and crew member images are now automatically reframed using face detection technology for improved visual presentation, and a new Monochrome App Tint mode offers another aesthetic option for the interface.
Various animations and interactions have been refined, including a new zoom animation when browsing content. The Ripple widget now supports Tinted mode for a unified design experience. Several bugs have been fixed, including issues with the "where to watch" quick indicator blinking during fast scrolling and a bug affecting the watch indicator in the Calendar.
