YouTube Music introduces shareable Personal Radio based on your listening history
YouTube Music is introducing a "personal radio" option, which will soon appear on users' profile pages. This radio, which updates daily based on recently added music, can be shared via a link and added to a user's library like any playlist.
The feature is reportedly rolling out in stages and will take time to become available to everyone. To enable it, users must navigate to their profile, select Settings, then Privacy & location, and finally Channel settings. They can then turn on "Enable public stats" or "Enable public personal radio" to share their YouTube Music personal radio publicly. The personal radio highlights a user's music preferences based on their listening history, creating a continuously updated music stream. Once enabled, anyone with the link can access the user's stats and personal radio, visible on the profile for up to two years unless hidden. Changes in the user's watch history will be reflected in their stats, ensuring the shared content stays current.
