WhatsApp tests voice interaction with Meta AI in latest beta update

WhatsApp is testing a new feature that allows users to interact with Meta AI via voice messages. This development was identified in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android (version 2.24.16.10).

Previously, Meta AI interactions were limited to text and images. The beta version now includes a voice message button next to the typing field, enabling users to press, hold, speak, and release to communicate with the chatbot.

This update aims to simplify interactions without the need for lengthy text inputs. However, details regarding supported languages and specific functionalities like message replies remain unclear. Meta continues to expand its AI across all of its platforms, in addition to adding new functionalities like the recently launched "Imagine Me."
