Dropbox acquires the AI-powered scheduling and time management platform Reclaim.ai

Dropbox has acquired Reclaim.ai, an AI-powered scheduling tool. Founded in 2019, Reclaim.ai optimizes users' schedules by managing meetings, tasks, and personal habits through Google Calendar integration.

Although the financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, Reclaim.ai has assured users that product development will continue under Dropbox’s ownership, with ongoing support and enhancements. The entire 22-member team from Reclaim.ai will join Dropbox, ensuring continuity in customer support and development. Reclaim.ai offers a basic free tier for individual users and premium plans for small teams starting at $8 per person per month, with no immediate changes to pricing.

The company also reassured users that the experience will remain consistent, with the same product, team, and support, but with more resources to accelerate development and introduce new features, such as the anticipated Outlook.com integration, which should arrive soon. For users unhappy with the acquisition, we recommend checking other time-management and scheduling tools alternatives like Calendly, Clockwise - AI Calendar, Notion Calendar or Doodle.
