Stremio enhances Android TV experience with Media3 update and bug fixes

Stremio has released a series of updates to improve the user experience on Android TV. The latest update includes Media3 (ExoPlayer) version 1.4.0-alpha02, addressing a bug where watched time wasn't progressing correctly and fixing an audio delay issue when using libVLC as the internal player. Home channels now sync automatically upon power on, restart, or wake up, and the searchable app provider has been enhanced for better functionality. Streams will consistently open in an external player if selected in the settings.

Additionally, a bug preventing the libVLC player from resuming from the last known position has been resolved. The app manifest now includes the "RecognitionService" query to fix search button issues on certain devices. Subtitles have been improved to use a software layer, avoiding lag issues without needing to disable hardware-accelerated views. Stremio will switch to libVLC when Media3 (ExoPlayer) starts with audio only but no video frame is rendered.

Language lists for audio and subtitles settings have also been updated, as well as Stremio Core and the Stremio Streaming Server. These enhancements will roll out over the next 24-48 hours.
