scrcpy 2.5 allows you to control your Android phone without screen mirroring

scrcpy has released version 2.5, introducing several enhancements and bug fixes. This update allows users to control their Android devices without screen mirroring. New features also include a shortcut to pause and unpause screen mirroring, forwarding mouse hover events, configuring mouse bindings, and forwarding all clicks by default for UHID/AOA.

scrcpy 2.5 also simplifies shortcut modifiers and updates key dependencies: FFmpeg to version 7.0.1, SDL to version 2.30.4, and platform-tools (adb) to version 35.0.0 for Windows. The release addresses several issues, such as a rotation shortcut fix for Android 14, YUV conversion for full color range, camera sizes listing on some devices, and a thread leak on Windows, among other technical fixes.
