OpenProject 14.3 released with improved project lists and enhanced progress reporting
OpenProject has released version 14.3 of its open source project management software, nearly a month after the 14.2 update. This latest version introduces several enhancements aimed at improving user experience and functionality.
Key updates in OpenProject 14.3 include the ability to add project lists to favorites. Additionally, an Enterprise add-on now allows sharing project lists either with the entire instance (Community feature) or with selected users or groups (Enterprise add-on). For users integrating with OneDrive/SharePoint, a new connection validation feature can now be activated.
Progress reporting has also been refined; users can now choose to view reports only in hours or in both days and hours, addressing feedback from previous changes. The search functionality, previously limited to specific work packages, has been expanded to include other modules such as project lists, Gantt, and boards.
The user profile page has also received a design update, adopting GitHub’s Primer design system, which affects the header and the right-hand column. OpenProject 14.3 also comes with additional improvements and bug fixes, which are detailed in the release notes.
