Microsoft is integrating Nvidia GeForce Now into its Xbox game store website (no console)

Microsoft is set to integrate Nvidia’s GeForce NOW service into its Xbox game store pages, offering users the option to select between Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia’s GeForce Now when viewing game listings online. P

reviously, Microsoft exclusively listed its own Xbox Cloud Gaming service under the “play with cloud gaming” option. The new “play with cloud” button is not yet available, and it remains unclear whether it will direct users to GeForce Now’s homepage or launch games directly on Nvidia’s service. Nvidia’s GeForce Now RTX 4080 tier is noted for its impressive performance, boasting end-to-end latency superior to an Xbox Series X on a 60Hz TV.

This integration follows a history of cloud gaming collaborations between Microsoft and Nvidia, including a 10-year agreement permitting Nvidia to license Xbox PC games and Activision Blizzard titles for GeForce Now. Earlier this year, Nvidia also enabled GeForce Now members to sync their Xbox accounts and Microsoft Store purchases with the cloud gaming service.
