Fleet 1.38 brings support for Conda environments and improved proxy setting detection
JetBrains has announced the release of Fleet 1.38, the latest version of its powerful code editor, featuring several enhancements aimed at improving the development workflow. Notably, Fleet 1.38 now automatically detects existing Conda environments, streamlining the setup process for data scientists and machine learning practitioners using Anaconda.
Among the new features, users can now reopen previously closed tabs using a keyboard shortcut, and the editor will automatically detect your operating system's proxy configuration, facilitating use behind firewalls or on corporate networks. Real-time log file updates ensure that file changes are immediately visible in open log files.
Fleet 1.38 introduces a lock icon to indicate read-only files and ensures that tool windows like Git, Debug, and Docker reopen upon restarting the application. Remote workspaces benefit from the ability to clone repositories directly from Git.
Additional enhancements include keyboard shortcuts for copying revision details in the History tool window and improved configuration options for Python interpreters, including support for Pipenv and Poetry. The release also includes various other improvements and bug fixes.
