Delta Emulator launches 1.6v with iPad support, including multi-window & gameplay transfer

Delta Emulator, the popular retro-game emulator, has officially released a fully optimized version for iPad with its latest update, version 1.6. For users in Europe, Delta can be found within AltStore, one of the first legal third-party stores launched due to policy changes Apple made because of the DMA. Meanwhile, in most other parts of the world, Delta can be downloaded independently from the Apple App Store.

Previously, users could download an unoptimized version of Delta for their iPads. However, version 1.6 introduces several exclusive features, such as the ability to open multiple windows, allowing for side-by-side gameplay or quick switching between games. Additionally, the update includes support for Stage Manager, enabling resizable windows for a more flexible gaming experience, and Handoff capability, which allows seamless gameplay transfer between an iPhone and an iPad.

Delta emulator has also introduced a new logo after accusations from Adobe about the similarity to their logo. The company announced that Apple has rejected the Delta 1.6 update for the App Store, delaying wider access, but this should not take long to be resolved.
