Bending Spoons has officially acquired the file transfer service WeTransfer

Once again, Bending Spoons has announced that it has acquired another large company, in this case, the file transfer service WeTransfer, which joins the catalog owned by the Italian company alongside other recognizable big apps such as Evernote and Meetup.

WeTransfer CEO Alexandar Vassilev highlighted the platform's growth to 600,000 subscribers and 80 million monthly active users over the last decade. Vassilev emphasized the importance of nurturing creative communities and amplifying their voices as central to WeTransfer's success.

Meanwhile, Bending Spoons has committed to continuing to reserve 30% of WeTransfer’s advertising space for give-back campaigns and editorial content. The company did not immediately comment on plans for changing pricing or layoffs related to WeTransfer.
