Mullvad Browser 13.5 released with letterboxing improvements and new installation options
Mullvad Browser has just received a significant update with the release of version 13.5. This Tor-based, open-source browser from Mullvad, known for its privacy-focused VPN service, introduces several new features aimed at enhancing user experience and privacy.
The update includes notable design changes to letterboxing, such as new options to remember the last used window size and adjust the alignment of the letterbox. Additionally, Mullvad Browser is now accessible through Mullvad's self-hosted repositories for Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora, broadening its availability for Linux users.
The Windows installer has also been reworked. By default, the browser will now be installed and integrated like any other Windows application, with the option to set it as the default web browser.
Launched in April 2023, Mullvad Browser aims to be one of the most privacy-focused web browsers available, encouraging users to adopt it as their primary browser.
