Arc browser update 1.47.1 introduces live calendar, enhanced command bar, and PiP mode

Arc Browser has unveiled its "Live Calendar" feature in the latest update, version 1.47.1, available now on Mac. This addition aims to help users stay on time for meetings and calls by integrating with Google Calendar for real-time updates and notifications. Users can pin "Live Calendar" to the favorites section for quick access and receive countdown timers for upcoming meetings. A "Join" button facilitates seamless entry into meetings with a single click, and customizable reminder settings allow users to choose their notification preferences.

Other enhancements in version 1.47.1 include a streamlined command bar that omits Shift+Enter icons post-search, and a new swipe capability to reopen accidentally closed tabs. The update also introduces a Picture in Picture (PiP) mode in the Arc Search app, enabling multitasking such as watching YouTube videos while browsing or shopping online.
