Supernotes 3.1 brings AI superpowers, including an editing assistant & collection creator
Supernotes has rolled out its 3.1 update, introducing a variety of new features and AI Superpowers, which includes AI-driven tools like Vision, an editing assistant for notecards, and Collection Creator, which aids in creating custom collections. These AI features are available for users on the Unlimited plan. The update also allows users to save filters as custom collections and edit standard collections, with the ability to share custom collection templates.
The update significantly enhances the typing experience by allowing users to add tags, emojis, and card links without moving the cursor. Shortcuts such as # for tags, : for emojis, and [[ for card links streamline the process. Inline links are now cleaner, and images and Mermaid diagrams render directly within the editor. Share pages and embedded cards have been rebuilt to load 10 times faster on a dedicated domain, share.supernotes.app, with the added functionality of copying cards as images via right-click.
Other notable improvements include a revamped print dialog on the desktop that supports printing up to 300 cards and offers options like adding QR codes and converting spoilers to dotted lines. Furthermore, users can now add multiple email addresses to their accounts, accommodating educational discounts without changing the primary email. The update also includes various general improvements and bug fixes that you can check in the changelog.
