MX Linux 23.3 “Libretto” unveiled with Linux 6.8 kernel, based on Debian 12.5 “Bookworm”

Linux distribution MX Linux has recently unveiled MX Linux 23.3 “Libretto”, the third update to the MX-23 release. The latest version is based on Debian 12.5 “Bookworm” and incorporates all updates from both Debian and MX repositories.

MX Linux 23.3 has updated the standard Xfce, KDE, and Fluxbox ISOs to the latest 6.1.90 Linux kernel. Additionally, the AHS (Advanced Hardware Support) edition of MX Linux 23.3 has transitioned to the 6.8.9 Liquorix Linux kernel.

MX Linux 23.3 “Libretto” comes with the “build-essential” packages, the latest 1.0 version of PipeWire, an updated manual, and a zstd compression option. It also includes numerous language updates and other enhancements.
