Microsoft launches PowerToys v0.80.0 with WebP support and Desired State Configuration
Microsoft has launched Microsoft PowerToys v0.80.0 with major new features, including a new Desired State Configuration through Winget Configuration, aiding in setting configurations. The Peek screen preview utility now supports WebP files, and the FancyZones Editor has undergone automated UI testing and bug fixes.
Quick Access entry is now available in the PowerToys flyout, and the File Locksmith modal allows text wrapping across multiple lines. The update also includes a new setting in PowerToys Run that omits files and patterns from Windows Search results.
