Brave Search unveils 'Answer with AI', a real-time and privacy-focused answer engine

Brave has revealed a significant update to Brave Search, introducing a new feature called Answer with AI. The advanced answer engine synthesizes data from multiple sources, providing comprehensive and understandable answers to queries. This is a notable upgrade from Brave's AI Summarizer launched in 2023.

Answer with AI is a privacy-focused answer engine that caters to the nearly 10 billion queries Brave Search receives annually. The feature generates almost instantaneous answers, citing the sources used, and displays these alongside traditional search results.

Brave Search's Answer with AI is accessible to all users for free, regardless of the platform they use, whether desktop or mobile. In addition to English, the answer engine supports several other languages, including French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

Brave Search aims to provide an integrated system with its new answer engine to satisfy multiple user intents at scale. The engine incorporates generative text and other media types, such as informational cards and images, to provide comprehensive answers.

Moreover, the Brave Search answer engine can amalgamate data from the index and geo-local results, offering enriched information about points of interest.

I have really grown to like Brave's AI answers. Very direct. Like other AI, the validity on important issues should be checked, but Brave AI seems generally right.

I was doubtful at first but after a few queries, I can say it was pretty accurate and actually useful..
