YouTube TV extends Multiview to iOS devices, allowing users to watch four channels at once

YouTube TV has extended its Multiview feature to iPhone and iPad users, allowing them to watch up to four channels at once. Previously exclusive to TV users, the iOS Multiview version lets users select the four channels they want to view, improving the user experience.

The Multiview feature for iOS devices can be accessed through the "Home" tab and supports certain games. It's particularly useful during live events like a Football match or Live Concert. To use the feature, users must update their YouTube TV app to version 8.11 and have a server-side component.

Despite its iOS debut, Google confirmed that Android users won't see Multiview support for a while. YouTube TV reassured Android users that the feature is in development for their platform and is expected to launch in the upcoming months.
