Vivaldi 6.6 brings a better Mail Search, Translate and Web Panels with extension support

Vivaldi has released version 6.6, which includes significant improvements for desktop browsers. The update supports Google Chrome extensions in Web Panels, allowing web pages to function alongside browser tabs and introducing new navigation buttons for easier backward and forward movement. A Website permissions dashboard is also included for better control over site permissions, with features to block Notification permission requests.

There's an improved Vivaldi Translate offering enhanced performance and translation quality across more than 100 languages, with a focus on privacy. Vivaldi Mail has also been updated with an Advanced Search feature, allowing detailed searches across various criteria and the ability to save searches as filters.

Additional updates include independent Dark and Light themes for web pages, and the ability to export and import data has been added to Reading Lists and Notes, with Notes exported in Markdown format and Reading Lists in CSV format. You can check the full changelist on the Vivaldi website.
