WhatsApp introduces four new advanced text formatting features

WhatsApp has introduced four new text formatting features for Android, iOS, Web, and Mac users. These include bulleted and numbered lists, block quotes, and inline code.

Users can create a bulleted list by starting their text with a "-" symbol followed by a space, while numbered lists require a number followed by a period and a space. With the block quote feature you can emphasize specific text by using the "" symbol. Lastly, inline code formatting, marked by "`" symbols at the beginning and end of the quote, can be used to highlight specific information.

These new formatting options are added to Whatsapp's existing options, such as bold, italic, strikethrough, and monospace formats. They are fully integrated into the app and are supported across various platforms with the support for channels. You can check out the table shared in the cover photo of this news article for reference 🙃
