Microsoft redesigns Copilot with a cleaner look and new Designer features
Microsoft has released a revamped version of Microsoft Copilot for web and mobile platforms. The update focuses on improving user experience through a cleaner look and includes a suggestion carousel on Android, iOS, and web platforms, which provides users with a variety of suggested prompts to feed the Chatbot.
New dedicated features have also been added, including a "Designer," "Vacation planner," "Cooking assistant," and "Fitness trainer" tabs, which can be accessed via a sidebar. There's also a quick access to subscribe to Copilot Pro, its premium plan that includes advanced features like GPT-4.
Microsoft Designer, which uses generative AI models like DALL-E 3 to create images from prompts, has also been update allowing English-speaking users in select regions to edit images directly within the chat flow. Subscribers to Copilot Pro can also resize and regenerate images between portrait and landscape modes, increasing the flexibility of image editing. Microsoft plans to further enhance Copilot's capabilities with the introduction of Designer GPT, an immersive canvas that will allow users to better visualize their ideas.
