Tusky 27 released with Material 3 design, improved notifications, hashtag bar, and more

Tusky has launched version 27 of its lightweight Mastodon client, introducing a host of new features, design enhancements, and bug fixes. The latest update incorporates Material 3 design principles and aligns with Mastodon 4.3's notification policies.

Key features in Tusky 27 include a distinct bar for hashtags placed at the end of posts and the ability to add descriptions to audio attachments. The update also optimizes the app for folding devices and enhances post rendering for specific edge cases.

Additionally, the screen keyboard now automatically appears when engaging with dialogs containing text fields, improving user interaction. Bug fixes in this release address issues such as drafts being lost when switching apps, media being dropped during post creation, and login failures in certain scenarios.
