Plane 0.24 released with enhanced performance, security, and workspace management

Plane, the open source project management software, has released its version 0.24, a month after the previous major update. This iteration introduces a no-load implementation, significantly improving performance for tasks like switching layouts, applying filters, and opening issues, making subsequent actions instantaneous after an initial load.

Administrators can now manage workspaces more effectively through the /god-mode interface, which provides insights into workspace numbers, member activity, and other metrics. Users can enhance their documentation with callouts using the /callout command to emphasize notes, warnings, and tips.

Content creation has been refined with support for left, center, and right alignment across all editors, allowing for more polished presentations. The security of assets has also been bolstered by storing them in a private bucket, ensuring that attachments, images, and other media are only accessible within Plane.

Additionally, a new Drafts section in the navigation bar consolidates all project drafts under one tab. The update also includes various improvements, bug fixes, and security patches, enhancing the overall functionality and reliability of Plane.
