FXhome will discontinue HitFilm and Imerge software by January 15, 2025

Artlist has announced that FXhome, known for its video and image editing tools such as HitFilm Pro, HitFilm Express, and Imerge, will cease operations on January 15, 2025. After this date, new registrations for FXhome software will no longer be possible. Users wishing to continue utilizing the software must ensure they have downloaded and installed the latest versions by this deadline. Customer support will remain available until the end of existing subscriptions.

Current owners of HitFilm and Imerge can continue using the software for personal or commercial purposes under a free license, although with a reduced feature set and without third-party software integration. Post-January 15, 2025, no further software updates will be provided, and the company has indicated that compatibility with future hardware and operating systems cannot be guaranteed.
