Apple unveils Final Cut Pro 11 and updates Logic Pro & Final Cut Camera with new features

Apple has introduced Final Cut Pro 11, featuring advanced capabilities such as Magnetic Mask and the Transcribe to Captions tool. The update also allows for the import, editing, and delivery of spatial video projects compatible with Apple Vision Pro.

Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1 enhances the touch-based editing experience with features like Enhance Light and Color, Live Drawing inks, and haptic feedback. It also includes additional content such as color-grading presets and dynamic soundtracks. Final Cut Camera 1.1 for iPhone now supports 4K120 fps recording on the iPhone 16 Pro, preview LUT application during recording, and Log-encoded HEVC video capture for reduced file sizes.

Logic Pro for Mac 11.1 and Logic Pro for iPad 2.1 introduce the Quantec Room Simulator plug-in, aimed at enhancing songwriting, beat-making, producing, and mixing processes. These updates for Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro on Mac and iPad, as well as Final Cut Camera, are now available on the App Store for all users.
