Aegis 3.3 brings several new features and improvements to enhance 2FA tokens management

Aegis, the secure and open-source Android app for managing two-factor authentication (2FA) tokens, has launched version 3.3, introducing a range of new features and improvements. The update enhances group filtering by allowing users to filter groups directly from the main view and assign multiple entries to a group simultaneously. Users can also reorder groups for better organization.

Aegis now includes a visual cue for expiring codes, which change color as they near expiration, and offers a new option to view the next code ahead of time. The app has expanded its backup capabilities, enabling backup to a single file, which facilitates compatibility with additional cloud providers like Google Drive.

Additional improvements include easier-to-scan QR code exports and support for importing tokens from Ente Auth and FreeOTP 2 backups. The update also features updated translations and various bug fixes to enhance overall user experience.
