Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 released with Apple Intelligence and Windows Server 2025 support

The Parallels team has launched Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 following the recent major release of version 20. This update introduces new features, enhancements, and critical fixes. A significant addition is the integration with Apple Intelligence, introduced in macOS 15 Sequoia, offering writing tools for Windows apps. These tools enable users to summarize text, generate insights, and refine writing within Windows applications across various modes, including windowed, full-screen, and Coherence mode.

Additionally, the update brings full support for Windows Server 2025 upon its release, marking the first support for a server OS on Parallels Desktop for Apple Silicon Macs. While Windows Server 2025 is currently in preview, users with an ARM-based image can begin experimenting. The update also includes numerous bug fixes, enhancing overall performance and stability.

Trying to run windows apps in WINE is starting to drive me batty, especially since ever 2 years of seeking and still can't find any mac native replacements for them.
