Luminar Neo 1.21 brings AI enhancements, color transfer, and smart search features
Luminar Neo has rolled out its latest update, version 1.21.0, bringing a host of new features and improvements to its AI-powered photo editing software. Subscribers and owners of the Upgrade Pass 2024/25 can now utilize the color transfer feature, enabling them to replicate the color palettes of any reference image. Additionally, a new smart search function utilizes machine learning to help locate images in catalogs based on concepts such as “Christmas tree” or “car in front of mountains”, beyond just filenames, dates, and extensions.
The update introduces color masking, allowing users to create masks based on specific colors for precise edits. Catalog enhancements include improved filtering by parameters like camera model, focal length, and ISO, alongside the ability to create virtual copies of photos and sort folders and albums by various attributes. The filmstrip feature facilitates quick image switching in the Edit and Presets tabs without exiting to Catalog mode.
Moreover, the update enhances the Relight AI tool and delivers a smoother, more responsive user experience with various enhancements and bug fixes.
