ForkLift 4.1.8 released with Dropbox Teams support and new file management features

ForkLift, the advanced dual pane file manager and transfer client for macOS, has launched version 4.1.8, introducing several new features and enhancements. One of the key updates is the seamless reconnection to Dropbox, addressing the issue where earlier versions could no longer connect. Users are advised to upgrade to version 4.1.8 or later to maintain Dropbox functionality.

This version also introduces support for Dropbox Teams, allowing users to manage both personal and team accounts directly within ForkLift. Additional features include the ability to select and compare two items within the same pane, and new context menu options for ejecting shares and disconnecting connections from the sidebar. Users can now delete favorite groups from the sidebar and assign keyboard shortcuts to color tags.

A new option to copy item paths in a terminal-friendly format has been added, alongside a “Reveal in Favorite Manager” context menu item for favorites. The update also provides a warning prior to upgrading when the license only supports trial mode. Enhancements in the display of undo and redo activities in the log, as well as various bug fixes, are also part of this release.
