Adobe Lightroom Classic 14 released with enhanced generative remove tool & denoise support
Adobe has rolled out version 14.0 of Lightroom Classic, bringing several new features and improvements to the software. The Generative Remove tool now offers enhanced selection capabilities with object detection, facilitating the removal of unwanted elements from complex backgrounds. Users can now utilize Content Credentials to attach their name, social media handle, and a list of edits to exported JPEGs through a digital signature, allowing for greater ownership of their photos.
The update introduces denoise support for Linear Raw DNGs, enabling users to produce cleaner and sharper images by reducing noise in high-resolution RAW files. Nikon users will benefit from improved tethering support, as Rosetta Emulation mode is no longer necessary, resulting in a more streamlined workflow.
Additionally, the update includes a comprehensive list of newly supported camera and lens profiles, along with other feature enhancements and changes. This release aims to improve user experience and expand the software's capabilities for professional and amateur photographers alike.
