MEGA is kicking off 2024 by launching a new VPN service for Android users
MEGA, the well-known cloud storage platform that emerged after the closure of Megaupload, has just announced its first new offering for 2024: MEGA VPN, a new product designed to bolster user online privacy.
The MEGA VPN is built on the sophisticated WireGuard protocol, ensuring high-level security without compromising on speed. Currently, it's included with all Pro plans at no extra charge. However, MEGA has plans to offer it as a standalone product in the first half of 2024, making it accessible to users without a Pro plan.
At its initial launch, MEGA VPN provides the fundamental features necessary for secure and private browsing. MEGA plans to enhance the VPN by adding more features and locations, based on customer feedback and requirements.
MEGA VPN is presently available for all Android devices via Google Play. In the upcoming months, the company plans to extend the availability of MEGA VPN to iOS, Windows, Linux, and macOS.

This is good. Though it would be a full year before I test this out and only after seeing reviews from sources I trust.
