Brave introduces on-chain Web3 crypto contributions from fans for Brave Creators

Brave has launched a new feature enabling Brave Creators to add Ethereum and Solana adressess to their channels and receive on-chain contributions from fans, with current support for BAT on Ethereum, BAT (Wormhole) on Solana, ETH, and SOL. The feature is integrated with Web3 wallets, enabling Brave Rewards users to make contributions using these wallets and creators can receive contributions from any Web3 wallet, including Brave Wallet and mobile wallets.

These transactions are fully on-chain and decentralized, ensuring direct, uncensored transactions without intermediaries. The setup process for creators is free and simple; they can add crypto addresses to their channels by logging into their account at creators.brave.com, and share their Web3 contribution page link, enabling anyone to contribute.
